The Powers That Be (Part 1) is the ninety-fourth episode of Jackie Chan Adventures.

Synopsis[]

Drago kidnaps, Captain Black, Uncle and Jackie. He's willing to return them in exchange for the containment unit with all the Demon Chi.

Plot[]

StrikeMaster Ice and his men capture Jackie, Uncle and Captain Black with the ransom of delivering the Chi Containment Unit now that it has all eight demon powers. Jade decides to have Tohru create a spell to try to sabotage Drago's plan. Meanwhile, after a failed attempt to escape, Jackie and Captain Black come up with a plan to create a diversion so Uncle can escape, and it works. In Section 13, Jade goes to Shendu to retrieve the final ingredient for Tohru's spell. During the meeting on the Golden Gate Bridge, StrikeMaster Ice and his crew turn on Drago in an attempt to seize all eight Demon Chi powers for themselves and throw Drago into the water. Uncle arrives just in time and is able to remove the Demon Chi from the Ice Crew, but before it can be sucked into the Chi-O-Matic, Drago uses a spell to draw the powers to himself and absorbs all of them. Tohru attempts to remove the chi, but fails. The episode ends with Drago destroying the bridge with everyone on it.
