Shendu's Talisman Locator is the specific Talisman Locator used by Shendu. It is a magical device forged by the eponymous Demon Sorcerer that guides its user to the location of the nearest Talisman.
History[]
After joining forces with the Dark Hand in his quest to reclaim the Talismans, Shendu provided Valmont and his enforcers with a magical Talisman Locator. Forged by Shendu himself, the Talisman Locator was created out of the same stone matter as his statue form. Despite possessing this advantage, the Dark Hand failed to recover all but two of the twelve scattered Talismans. Furthermore, the Talisman Locator was ultimately destroyed when Tohru dropped and fell on top of it whilst attempting to secure the Dog Talisman.

When Shendu altered the course of history by writing in the Book of Ages, the Demon Sorcerer effectively created an alternate reality where he and his siblings were never banished centuries earlier. In this reality, Shendu possessed a Talisman Locator identical to the one previously used by the Dark Hand. When Jackie, Jade and Uncle stole a number of Shendu's Talismans before setting out to revert his alterations to the Book of Ages, the Demon Sorcerer used his Talisman Locator to track the Chans, following their trail across each of his siblings' domains.
Powers and Abilities[]
Shendu's Talisman Locator consists of a torch-like handle with four, dragon-like heads at its top, resembling the four points of a compass. When held, the eyes and mouth of the dragon facing the nearest Talisman will glow bright red[1], effectively guiding the user to its location. Holding the Talisman Locator in close proximity to a Talisman will cause all four dragons to glow at once. Unlike the Talisman Locators used by Uncle and Daolon Wong which require a different Locator Spell for each Talisman, Shendu's Talisman Locator could be used locate all twelve by itself.

- Shendu's Talisman Locator appears in the title sequence for Season 1, occurring between a scene transition. It is replaced by the Pan'ku Box for the second season and Tohru for the third and fourth seasons.
- ↑ Shendu's Talisman Locator is initially shown to glow gold in "The Power Within" and "Enter the Viper". Due to a continuity error introduced in "Project A, for Astral", the Talisman Locator glows red rather than gold and remains as such for every subsequent episode it appears in.
