Chronology[]
- The first three episodes of Season 2 are actually set during the events of Season 1. Through the Rabbit Hole takes place after Shell Game but before The Dog and Piggy Show, since the Rabbit Talisman was first discovered in the former and the Seeking Device was destroyed in the latter. The Warrior Incarnate takes place in-between The Rock and The Jade Monkey, since the Horse Talisman was first discovered in the former and the Monkey Talisman (which Lo Pei notes is missing from the vault) was first discovered in the latter. Finally, Snake Hunt takes place directly before Enter the Viper, essential serving as a prequel to that episode.
- In The Mother of All Battles, the Yokonowa Boss speaks of Tohru's defection from the Dark Hand, claiming it to be the word on the street. However, Tohru's defection (as well as his survival from the events of Day of the Dragon) is not revealed to the Dark Hand until the events of The J-Team. This suggests that The Mother of All Battles takes place sometime after The J-Team.
- At the beginning of Rumble in the Big House, Valmont is depicted in sorcerer's robes, despite And He Does His Own Stunts being the episode in which Shendu first threatens to change Valmont's wardrobe, with the changes not being applied until the events of Queen of the Shadowkhan. This suggests that Rumble in the Big House actually takes place after the events of both of these episodes, rather than before them.
- In Danger in the Deep Freeze, Jade claims that she is not yet allowed to own a cell phone, despite being shown to possess one in And He Does His Own Stunts, Tale of the Demon Tail and The Return of the Pussycat. This suggests that Danger in the Deep Freeze actually takes place before the events of these three episodes, rather than after them.
