The Scroll of Hung Chao is an ancient Chinese scroll consisting inscriptions that are said to hold great power. Painting these inscriptions onto one's palms gives them access to magical powers such as firing destructive chi blasts, levitation, animating inanimate objects, and creating small tornadoes. The Scroll is kept in the library of the Lotus Temple. The Monk, who served as Jackie's and Jade's guide to the temple, sought the Scroll to possess its power. After the events of the fight that took place in the Lotus Temple, the Scroll of Hung Chao was destroyed, preventing it from falling into the wrong hands ever again.
