The Rat Talisman is one of twelve Talismans that were originally created by Shendu. After Shendu was defeated and his powers scattered, the Rat Talisman was hidden away.
Overview
The Rat Talisman originated in Hong Kong, China, where it was created by Shendu to give him the power of animation and allow him to maintain his true form. After Shendu's defeat, the Talismans were scattered by Lo Pei and the Rat Talisman was hidden away.
Powers and Abilities
The user of the Rat Talisman gains the Power of Animation. When a motionless object absorbs the Talisman it comes to life. If the object is modeled after something, it becomes even more like it and takes on their abilities and minds. For example it gave the power of flight and the sense of justice to Super Moose. Lo Pei also gained the power of scroll magic and the need to protect the Talismans.
