The Gray Fox is a former acquaintance of Viper who runs a tavern in Paris with ties to the criminal underworld.
History[]
When the master thief known as Origami stole a valuable painting that Jackie had been sent to appraise from a Parisian gallery, Jade enlisted the help of Viper, citing that in order to catch a thief, they had to think like one.
After touching down in Paris, Viper determined that the thief in question was Origami after inspecting the calling card, an origami swan, he had left in place of the stolen painting.
Only tangentially familiar with Origami, Viper led Jackie and Jade to the Gray Fox's tavern, claiming it was a den of thieves and that the proprietor would be able to tell them more. Upon introducing Jackie and Jade to the Gray Fox, Viper presented him with the paper swan, to which he immediately attributed to Origami, indicating that he only steals the finest of Far East art before proceeding to explain the nature of his magical abilities and the means by which he acquired them. Despite Jackie's firsthand encounter with the thief, however, the Gray Fox insisted that Origami was merely a legend, even mocking Jackie for believing he existed.
