Trivia[]

The title of this episode is a reference to both the 1981 film Clash of the Titans and the ill-fated passenger liner R.M.S. Titanic.
This marks the only episode in Season 5 where Drago managed to keep the Demon Chi he absorbed, rather than having it extracted by the Chi-O-Matic.
In the scene where Jackie discovers Jade has stowed away on the submarine, she makes a joke about leaving, in response, Jackie remarks that they are currently "20,000 leagues under the sea". This is a reference to the 1870 novel of the same name by French writer Jules Verne.
