The Cat of Khartoum is an ancient artifact. It has the power to turn anyone it scratches into a cat-human hybrid.

Plot

Jackie finds the statue in a Persian palace, but Valmont had been searching for it as well. In the ensuing fight, Valmont accidentally got scratched by the statue. Valmont soon found that he can balance and jump, and eventually discovers he’s become part cat. With that, he resolves to use his newfound abilities to further his crimes.

When Jade was forced to steal it back for a gangster after Jackie is tossed into a jail cell, she is able to retrieve the statue. However, she gets scratched by it in the process.

Uncle had been researching into the Cat’s legend, and only says that the cure lies within.

Jackie soon has an epiphany, and decides the Cat is too dangerous to be in a museum. So he smashes the statue, which released a purple-colored gas that cured Valmont and Jade, thus restoring them back to normal. He then realizes that “The antidote lies within” meant that the antidote was inside the statue itself.
